In Your Classroom
Take a close look at the role of observation in understanding art and the creative process. Students participate in a series of drawing games employing a variety of media and techniques and create their own observational journals—with a beguiling number of empty pages!
At Lynden: Observation Painting in the Garden
Students bring along their observational journals for a thematic mini-tour of selected sculptures, followed by an introduction to watercolor painting in the art studio and a plein air painting session in the garden. Empty pages filled!
